Ljóðverk

Fyrirbærið Ljóðverk er tilraun til að endurvekja áhuga fólks á íslenskum skáldskap, opna augu gangandi vegfarenda fyrir borgarlandi Reykjavíkur og ögra eftirtektarleysi einstaklingsins í erilsömu nútímasamfélagi. Í sumar geta því þeir sem eiga leið um miðbæ Reykjavíkur búist við að sjá lítil ljóð á lúmskum stöðum, heyra skyndilega ljóðaupplestra og einnig fá tækifæri til að sleppa sínu innra skáldi lausu. Að verkefninu standa Snorri Rafn Hallsson og Már Másson Maack. Poemopolis
The phenomenon Poemopolis is an attempt to revive peoples’ interest in Icelandic poetry, open their eyes to Reykjavík’s diverse cityscape and to defy the individual unconsciousness in today’s hectic modern society. This summer in the heart of Reykjavík, people can expect to find small poems at inconspicuous locations, hear sudden poetry readings and get a chance to cut loose their inner poet. Snorri Rafn Hallsson and Már Másson Maack are the ‘actionaries’ behind the project.
